Justin Wittenmeier Ridiculously filthy death doom with long compositions that remain engaging throughout. Vocals, drums, rhythm section, guitar....everything is doomy as hell while battering the senses. Favorite track: Quivering Majesty.

drudgedread I can't wait to hear the rest of after playing Angels Entrail. A really sick sound that pulls just enough from the weirder old scandinavian bands like Macrodex, Moondark, Demigod, and put it through the more contemporary sonic and rhythmic sensibilities of banda like Vastum, Funebrarum, and Disma to make a damn sick slab to accompany you're trip to the grave. The mix from Dan is heavy, large, and thick while maintaining all of the bite and attack from instruments to keep you in their world. ☠️ Favorite track: Angel's Entrail.

Dave Aftandilian I love me some swampy death doom, and these guys deliver super solid filth. (You can hear two of the other tracks on this release on the band’s Quelled demo from 2019.) Sounds like delving down into a forgotten cavern, slimy mud-goo dripping from ceiling to floor, and watching misshapen, newly made beings crawl out of a black lake onto the rocks only to be torn apart by winged, clawed demons again and again and again.

gnihilo Dirty and roaring death doom with a lot of atmosphere and fun groove passages, definitely recommended for any fan of the genre! However, a little more variety in the vocals would lift this album from "very good" to "great".

Alabama's quartet SERAPHIC ENTOMBMENT are now back with “Sickness Particles Gleam”, a 50+ minutes haunting and crushing ode to the foreboding; a long and unsettling journey into mankind’s darkest and most fetid hallucinations, fears, and primal impulses!

Seraphic Entombment was formed in the fall of 2017, initially as a side project of Ectovoid and Hegemony members. After early songwriting and rehearsals and a handful of live performances, debut rehearsal demo “Quelled” was recorded in 2018 in the band’s practice dungeon. Shortly before this time guitarist JB joined the band, bringing the outfit to a four-piece and adding an extra layer of depth and heaviness to the band’s lumbering, cavernous sound. Further songwriting, rehearsals, and live performances continued to take place over the next two years until the band finally entered a proper studio to record their bizarre and miasmic debut full length record – “Sickness Particles Gleam.”
